The Arab Open University in Egypt hosts an international robot programming competition

The Arab Open University in Egypt, headed by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abu Al-Nasr, hosted the iCooLChallenge robot programming competition for mart techno students.
The iCooLChallenge is an international competition for robot programming and is organized in more than 40 countries around the world in which school and university students participate. The student uses programming languages such as Scratch, C programming language and Python to program a robot to carry out rescue missions or program a self-driving robot.
Meanwhile, Iman Marzouk Aziz, Director of Smart Techno Student, expressed her joy and interest in cooperating with the Arab Open University and iCall Egypt.
The competition works to facilitate learning the basics of programming and the way of thinking using algorithms and flowchart, using advanced computer programming Language C and Python, developing problem-solving skills, programming robots to carry out tasks in the virtual and real environment, discovering the field of robots and artificial intelligence, and using the Point Power program for presentations to present student ideas and learn skills. Dealing with video film processing programs to showcase the student’s programming skills.
Among the objectives of the competition is to program a driverless car in a smart city using sensors such as ultrasound and a color sensor to carry out delivery and transportation tasks in an organized and safe manner. Rescue CoSpace aims to program a smart robot used to save living beings from the effects of natural disasters by searching for them in the city and transporting them to a place. Be safe while avoiding walls and obstacles in your way while searching for living creatures.
The competition also aims to create creative youth from all over the Arab Republic of Egypt through their coaches at the republic level to participate in tournaments
