Admission Criteria

For admission to the programme you should:

have a BSc Honours degree in Computing or a related field from the Arab Open University or another recognized university with a graduation rating of GOOD or higher
or

Masters of Science (MSc) in Computing (Software Development),

Masters of Science (MSc) in Computing (Information Security and Forensics)

Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Computing (Software Development)

Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Computing (Information Security and Forensics)

have a BSc degree in a non-related subject with professional experience in the software development process or in the information security and forensics field. In addition to that a qualification exam that is equivalent to passing the final exam for any one of M105 / M106 / M107 and also M180 course in the BSc Information Technology and Computing is required. This would be essential to confirm that the you have the necessary underpinning knowledge and understanding of object-oriented programming to undertake the MSc.

have an overall score of 6.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or
have an overall score of 550 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) in the Paper-Based Test (PBT) or the equivalent score of 213 in the Computer-Based (CBT) TOEFL Test or an overall score of 80 in the Internet Based Test (IBT).
